Start with a pan that has nice rounded edges.
If your pan has shallow edges, it will be harder to flip the ingredients.
To practice grab a handful of any dry ingredient, like rice or beans.
As long as it slides around smoothly in your pan, it should work well!
First, just make a slight tilt in your wrist holding the pan.
Then, begin doing a quick forward push that you immediately pull back.
