How To Make Garlic Confit

Here’s how you can turn your garlic into a soft confit.

Start with as many heads of garlic as you want.

Trim off all the tops so they have an open face.

Arrange your garlic in an oven safe pot with the cut side facing up.

Cover fully with olive oil and place uncovered in the oven at 225 degrees Fahrenheit.

After about two hours your garlic will have a nice golden brown color.

It can be very easily squeezed out – which is super satisfying and fun.

The garlic will be so good that you can basically eat it alone.

Make sure to save the olive oil and use it however you want!
