Start by pinching the blade right where it meets the handle with your thumb and index finger.
This is called, “the pinch grip”.
Now with your other three fingers, wrap them around the handle however they fall naturally.
This will give you more control by making the knife an extension of your arm.
Plus, it protects your fingers.
Now hold your knife firm, but not too tight, and you’ll be cutting like a pro chef in no time.
