You are wasting your time going one by one.
Take a deli container lid, and place your tomatoes on top of the lid.
Grab another similar sized container lid and place it on top of the tomatoes.
Press lightly on the top lid and then just run your knife through the opening of the lids cutting the tomatoes in half.
You could also do this with grapes!
