Want to mince ginger in just seconds?
Start by separating a fresh head of ginger by the stems.
Peel the outer layer with a spoon until it’s clean.
If you look close, you’ll see the lines that run the length of the ginger as well as hairs.
So you want to turn the ginger, take your knife and cut against the grain.
Make sure you cut nice thin slices length wise down the ginger.
Lay them down on the table, should be oval shaped, and cover them with a plastic wrap.
Then take your knife, or bottom of a small pot, to break it all apart.
Push the remains together and you will have perfectly minced ginger.
