Brown Sugar Hack

If your brown sugar hardens in storage, you’re storing it wrong.

You may notice that fresh brown sugar has the consistency of wet sand.

That’s because it’s really just a combination of white sugar and molasses.

And as it sits on the shelf, that molasses loses moisture to the air, drying everything out.

But there’s an easy fix.

If you toss in one or two marshmallows and wait 24 hours, that brown sugar will be good as new.
