If your bananas are looking a bit brown and bruised it’s time to make banana bread.
Start by turning a stick of butter to brown butter in a pan.
This is the secret that turns your banana bread from good to great.
Then into a bowl add three very ripe bananas and mash them.
Add your brown butter, 3/4 cup brown sugar, one large egg, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and baking soda, a pinch of salt, 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, and some optional chocolate chips.
Once it’s all mixed up, add this to a greased loaf pan and bake for 30-60 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until it looks a nice golden brown.
