1. Eligibility
The Knife Drop Cookbook Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, affiliates, and agents of Nick’s Kitchen and its affiliates are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited.
2. How to Enter
To enter, you must:
- Sign up for Nick’s Kitchen email list via the entry form on www.nickskitchen.com during the Sweepstakes period.
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
You may only enter once. Multiple entries from the same email address or IP address will be disqualified. Automated entries are prohibited.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 PM ET on 5/22/25 and ends at 12:00 PM ET on 6/5/25. Entries received after the end date will not be eligible.
4. Winner Selection and Notification
At the end of the Sweepstakes period, twenty (20) winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes period. The winners will be notified by email within 48 hours of the drawing. If the selected winner does not respond within 24 hours of the first notification attempt, or if the prize notification is undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected.
5. Prize
There will be twenty (20) winners. Each winner will receive one (1) signed copy of the Knife Drop cookbook. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is $35 USD.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable for any reason.
6. Prize Conditions
All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and other expenses not expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions as being part of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release as a condition of receiving their prize.
7. Publicity Release
By entering the Sweepstakes, winners agree to the use of their name, likeness, and/or voice in any promotional materials related to this giveaway, including but not limited to email marketing, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
8. General Terms
- The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, or any other error or malfunction that may affect the entry process.
- By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage to persons or property related to the receipt, use, or misuse of the prize.
- Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Sweepstakes if it determines that the Sweepstakes is impaired or corrupted by any event beyond its control, including technical problems, fraud, or any other issue that would corrupt the integrity of the Sweepstakes.
- The Sponsor’s decisions regarding the winner and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes are final and binding.
9. Limitation of Liability
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, and agents from any claim, loss, or damage arising out of the entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
This Sweepstakes and the Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles. By entering, you agree that any dispute arising out of or related to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, and exclusively by binding arbitration in the State of Massachusetts, conducted in English.
11. Privacy
By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to the collection of your personal information for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and awarding the prizes. Sponsor will handle personal data in accordance with its privacy policy, which can be found at https://nickskitchen.com/disclosure-policy/.
